“Just Follow” was created by Genevieve to show the power and versatility of women in the Kizomba industry. In partner dancing there is often a misconception that the role of the woman is to ‘just follow’. This dangerous idea had led many women to be left underpaid and undervalued in the Kizomba industry.

Fogo e Ouro ladies show the versatility of women in Kizomba, dancing afro, leading semba, killing the Urban Kiz and working as an incredibly unified team they show that women certainly do more than “Just follow”
