Shannon Hsu is an entrepreneur, businesswoman and go-getter. As a young woman excelling in her field, owning her own businesses and exceeding expectations, Shannon Hsu is anything but ordinary. She has built up two thriving businesses; a studio, and created Dance Editorial, a production company, program and course facilitator and online media outlet. More than a company, Dance Editorial is a platform to celebrate others in her field and create training and work opportunities for dancers and artists alike. Lifting each other up and spreading passion, love and positivity.

It is her passion for dance; her constant strive to educate the next generation of dancers, and to lift up the industry that drives her. Not one to follow the pack, she continues to break the mould and lead the way in innovation. Shannon has achieved all of this, before the age of 30.

Through Dance Editorial Shannon has worked with many of the top choreographers and dancers both in the LA and Australian industry, including, A- Lister’s such as Mia Michaels, Logie winner Georgie Parker, Andye J, Willdabeast, Janelle Ginestra, Nicole Kirkland, Jade Chynoweth, Sarah Boulter, SYTYCD Bonnie Lythgoe and countless others. Plus leading Australian choreographers and artists.

Shannon is also the mastermind behind Dance Editorial’s Pre-Professional Dance Course, (PPDC) and PPDC Camp. PPDC and PPDC Camp are the essential courses for all elite dancers and has been in 4 cities and constantly growing.

Shannon is a sought after adjudicator, panelist at elite dance schools and public speaker. Speaking at educational institutes like JMC and events such as Women With Vision. Shannon has been featured in, and has articles published in leading

Business and Women’s magazines and entrepreneurship books.

Shannon’s has thus far produced and directed 2 touring dance shows in Australia; Love Is Love and 7 Vices, touring 3 states and 5 cities. Another production plus international tours are currently in the works for 2018. Creating work for 100’s of dancers.

Shannon has featured on Channel V and MTV as a dancer, danced and choreographed for many up and coming urban artists in Australia as well as featuring in numerous film clips. Shannon has supported acts such as Jagged Edge, Thara (USA), Israel, Kyle and performed at the UMAS 2007, NYE at the Metro and Woman’s NBL and more.

Shannon has been a feature dancer in advertisements like for the magazine ‘Famous’, toured Australia as part of the group Femme Fatales and Nufirm as well as supporting Israel around Australia as a choreographer and dancer. Shannon has creatively directed Music Film clips and trained performers on stage presence and movement. She has taught in elite schools around Sydney and well as internationally, including Indonesia.
